Catchment conference
(From Our Own Reporter) BLENHEIM, April 26. The annual conference of I the Catchment Authorities Association began in Blen-[ heim today. The conference was, officially opened this afternoon by the Ombudsman (Sir Guy Powles) and was addressed by the Leader of the Opposition (Mr Rowling). Tomorrow, the conference delegates will be addressed ■by the Minister of Works (Mr W. L. Young), and one of ■ the main items for discussion 'will be Government spending 'on catchment works.
