Politician expelled
Mr Rukman Senanayake, scion of two former Sri Lankan Prime Ministers and head of a prominent family, has been expelled from the Opposition United National Party. Mr Senanayake, who has been in disagreement with the U.N.P. leader. Mr Richard Jayewardene, was accused of disloyalty to the party, which was founded by his grandfather and the country’s first Prime Minister, Mr Stephen Senanayake. I— Colombo.
