Suspensions at Ellerslie
I (N.Z. Press Association' AUCKLAND. At an Inquiry adjourned from the first day at Ellerslie. K. E. Heggett, tile rider of El Katrina in the Diana Stakes, was fined Sl5O for causing interference to Karragon and Eilan Vannin about 220 m from the finish. D Medcalfe, the rider of Hot Spark in the Second Non-Tote Race was suspended from riding up to and including May 1 for causing Interference to Brondell near the 800 m. Following the check to Brondell. B righttai was also checked with the result that Shardistaau (A J. Tweedie! lost his rider. Tweedie was not injured M. D. Hinton, the rider of Diophon in the St Hellers Hurdles, was suspended up to and including May 8 for causing interference to Lauron between the first and second fences in the home straight with a round to go.
