Killing delays
farmers are finding it almost impossible to get stock killed at the moment, according to the chairman of the agriculture section executive of the Canterbury Federated Farmers (Mr G. Rennie). Mr Rennie told a meeting of the executive yesterday that the difficulty in getting stock killed was interrupting the procedure of farms by making it hard for farmers to buv in more stock in the The position was even, more serious in dry areas where there was not so much feed available. Some farmers were already breaking into their winter feed for stock which they had been forced to keep, he said.
