Letus Worship Together at Easter

The traditional Easter services will be held in most Christchurch churches this year, and many will be combined with music and drama. Several churches will hold joint services. Others have invited guest preachers. The Salvation Army's Christchurch Theatre Group will present the musical, "Spirit,” at the Repertory Theatre from Easter Saturday until April 24. The theme will be the Easter 'acknowledgement of the Resurrection. On Good Friday, in the Salvation Army Citadel, Victoria Square, there will be services at 10.30 a.m., 2.30 p.m., and 7 pm. Special guests at these services will be Colonel B. Davis, from London, and LieutenantColonel and Mrs V/. Simpson, of Wellington. For Easter Sunday, the Salvation Army has arranged a special sunrise meeting in Victoria Park at 7 a.m., to which all Christians are invited. Salvation Army corps around Christchurch will also hold their own meetings.
