i r Mowbray (right), one of New Zealand’s best-known hankers, who will retire as general manager of the National Bank at the end of September after spending 42 years with the bank. He will be succeeded by Mr S. F. Russell (left), who is at present the bank's chief manager in London. At the same time, the bank’s assistant general manager (Mr I. G. Andrews) will become deputy general manager, and Mr L. H. Mills will move from deputy to chief manager in London.
