Mrs Peron to be put on trial
<N Z P A Reuter—Copyright > BUENOS AIRES, April 13. A military court will try the ousted Argentine Pres, idem, Mrs Maria Estela Peron, on charges of committing economic crimes against the State, according to senior military sources in Buenos Aires. No date has yet been fixed for the trial of Mrs Pe-on, who was overthrown by the armed forces on March 24. and has since been held under house arrest in a holiday’ resort in the foothills of the Andes, in southern Argentina. The sources say that the decision to put Mrs Peron on trial followed an interrogation of the former Presiuent hy a senior military officer.
