Hospital's dilemma
(N.Z. Press Association* HAMILTON, April 13. The Waikato Hospital Board may have to build an unwanted sun-deck at Raglan’s geriatric hospital from the proceeds of a hospital gala day. The board had asked for legal advice about how it should spend the money raised at the gala after it was decided the sun-deck was not practical. Board members and hospital staff agreed a colour television set would be a better-used amenity for the patients. But legal advisers have told the board that the Hospitals Act and its own pol(icy prevented the change of ■ use once the money was coljlected. | So the sun-deck, however (unnecessary, may have to be ibuilt after'all, even if approIval were obtained from all ithe donors on buying a coliour television instead.
