Australians marathon
<:• Z. Press Assn—Copyrights ' Sydney Australia will send a team* of three long-distance swim-1 mers to compete in marathon swims in four countries! later this year. The squad is Chris Gues-i don of Hobart, and Queens- i landers Dick Campion of; Hervey Bay and Jenny An-t derson of Redcliffe. Apart from an English; Channel swim, they will take part in a 37km attempt from Capri to Naples on July H, two swims of up to 25 miles in Canada in Augsut, and an 18 mile swim at Chicago on August 22. Tentative plans had been made for marathon swims in Egypt and Argentina but these are in doubt because of lack of confirmation from the two countries.
