A Sydney trainer, Des Lake, and bis stable foreman, Kenneth Carroll, were each disqualified for six months by Newcastle Jockey Club stipendiary stewards after a three-hour inquiry into a positive swab taken from Chelsea Morning. The stewards were told that | two feeds could have been i accidentally mixed up, causing I Chelsea Morning to receive medication prescribed for another horse. Both Lake and Carroll said they would appeal to the A.J.C.
