Stabbing in Awanui
f X.Z. Press Association > KAITAIA. April 11. A 17-year-old naval rating, admitted to Kaitaia Hospital | on Saturday night with stab wounds in the abdomen, was tonight reported to be in a reasonably good condition. Terence Moses, of H.M.N.Z.S. Thilomel, was injured in a fracas in the main street of Awanui shortly before 11 p.m. on Saturday. A 24-year-old man has been arrested and charged with assault with intent to injure. He will appear in the Kaitaia Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
