ANALYTICAL CHEMIST NAURU — CENTRAL PACIFIC THE COMPANY: The Nauru Phosphate Corporation, which was formed by the Republic of Nauru to develop the phosphate deposits on the island, has a vacancy for a qualified Analytical Chemist. THE POSITION: A Chemist is required on Nauru to control the operation of a newly established analytical laboratory. This laboratory has been installed to provide an analytical service for the phosphate industry. The chemist will be responsible for administering the laboratory and for sample control, checking of product moisture, BPL and over-all chemical analysis and such other tests as are required to maintain product quality. The laboratory will also function as a testing service for the complete island mining industry and associated support departments. THE MAN: Applicants should be professionally qualified and be experienced in the analysis of phospherous, cadmium, iron, aluminium, carbonates, trace elements, etc. Age group open.
