f.X.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN. { Farmers’ Mutual Insurance. Association, Dunedin, is amalgamating with two North Island farmer owned and operated insurance organisations, Taranaki Farmers Mutual Insurance Association, and Primary Industries Insurance Company Ltd. Mr J. D. Wilde will become group general manager and future business will be conducted under the name, The Farmers’ Mutual Group. ■ Regional meetings of pol-icy-holders were held throughout New Zealand in July, and they endorsed the { proposal by the boards. The head office of the amalgamated organisations, will be located in Palm-: Jerston North. Amalgamation will be achieved by merging the two .mutuals which will continue {to provide a specialist “on {farm" insurance service through their established branches throughout New; Zealand. Primary Industries Jnsur-. {ance will underwrite com-; 'mercial farm business.
