I Two Nobel Prize-winning ! cancer researchers have acicused the United States 'Government of failing to take adequate measures to discourage cigarette smok-i ing, and said a proposed '(heavy tax of high-tar and h i g h-nicotine cigarettes would be an important first step. Dr Renato Dulbecco and Howard Temin, who share the 1975 prize for their work in cancer studies, told a Senate panel that Government must take some of the blame for killing some !of the 60,000 Americans who die each year of lung cancer.
