Unions against nuclear ships
GV.Z. Press Association) MELBOURNE, March 19. Australian and New’ Zealand trade unions have decided to fight any attempt by the Governments of both countries to admit nuclearpowered or equipped ships to ports. A meeting of the Australian Council of Trade Unions i and the New Zealand Federa-1 tion of Labour, both of which support the establishment of a nuclear-free zone ; in the South Pacific, reached the decision in Melbourne yesterday.
