Law studen wins grant
I Miss J. M. Donaldson. Canterbury Universit student, is one of rhree la' : students to receive a gran ’ from the New Zealand Lav Society's centennial Maor scholarship fund this year. Miss Donaldson’s grant r ' for $6OO a year for the tw< ' years it will take to contplet' her LL.B, degree and lav professional units. Miss Donaldson, aged 19 is of Ngai Tahu descendancy The two other students t< receive giants are Mr W. H K. Puriri, of Aucklanc University, and Miss P. A K. McDonald, of Victoria University. Awards are made annual!' Ifrom the fund by represents I lives of the Maori Educat tor Foundation and the New Zea .land Law Society to person of Maori descent who at i studying law at a university in New Zealand.
