Parun loses in doubles
f.V.Z.PA Staff Crspdti WASHINGTON. Onny Parun, of New Zealand, in Washington this u’eek to play in the 550.00 J V olvo Classic on the World Championship Tennis circuit, was knocked out of the doubles on the opening night of the tournament last night. Parun and his partner, Ray Moore (South Africa), were beaten 6-3, 7-6, 6-4 by the Americans Fred McNair and Sherwood Stewart.
Parun plays his opening singles match tonight against Tony Roche of Australia.
