H LYTTELTON BOROUGH COUNCIL Notice of Day of Poll on Loan Proposal PURSUANT to Section 35 of the Local Authorities Loans Act, 1956, Public Notice is given that a poll of Lyttelton Borough ratepayers will be taken on Saturday, April 10, 1976, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. on the loan proposal set out below. The polling places will be the Lyttelton Borough Council office and the Diamond Harbour School. 1. The Loan is for the purpose of constructing and furnishing a new public library in Lyttelton, together with the necessary ground works and retaining wall. 2. It is proposed to borrow the sum of 8100,000. 3. The maximum term of the loan will be 30 years and the rate of Interest will not be greater than 8.5 per cent per annum. 4. The loan or any part thereof, together with interest thereon, shall be repaid by either:— (a) Equal aggregate annual or half-yearly instalments of principal and interest. (bl The establishment of a sinking fund before raising the said loan or any issue relating thereto and by makannuai payments to such sinking fund at a rate of not less than 1.38 per cent per annum of the amount borrowed and owing. 5.
