This is the timetable of •vents for the Methven show on Saturday:
8.30 a.m.: Horse and pony judging begins; dog trials begin. 9.30 a.m.: Sheep and cattle judging.
10 a.m.: All other judging and shearing championships.
10.30 a.m.: Hunter events begin.
2 pan.: Huntaway display by Mr E. W. Lewis.
230 pan.: Grand Parade. 2.45 p.m.: Auction of butchers* cattie.
3 pan.; Chopping finals. 330 p.m.: Trucking out of export beef exhibits.
4.15 pan.: Final of dog trials in ring. 4.45 p.m.: Steer riding; Mt Hutt championships. 5 pan.: Raffles drawn; beef and sheep weight guessing closes.
Woodchopping events will be held throughout the day.
