Th* Auckland RugM League lest night withheld approval of the transfer of Bob Jarvis and Murray Wright from Otahuhu to Hornby (Christchurch).

la spite of the financial terms having been met by Hornby, the A.R.L. is to advise the New Zealand Rugby League that both players have signed contracts to play their football in Auckland during I*7*.

Jarvis and Wright signed the contracts last year prior to their departure for Australia to take part in the Auckland Amco Cup games in Sydney.

The AH.L. is to insist on the players honouring those contracts.
