Gospel song contest
The Christchurch finals of the “Gospel Talent Search ’76”, sponsored by Youth for Christ, will be held in the Town Hall on March 27. The director of Youth for Christ in Christchurch (Mr R. C. Parker) said yesterday that 15 to 20 entries had been received. All must present Gospel music. There are four sections: teen-age championship, open championship, original songs, and youth choirs. The winners of each section will compete in the national finals in Wellington at Queen's Birthday week-end.
The semi-finals of the contest will be held at the Oxford Terrace Baptist Church hall on Saturdav.
