MR MULDOON The Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon) has been attacked quite regularly in the newsi pap rs lately for his ideas and thoughts on our teleI vision and news system. On j Friday night TVI apologised nationwide for presenting j “Coronation Street" twice on (consecutive Thursdays. Fancycthe same “Coronation (Street" twice. How many j times do we viewers have to put up with loss of sound, and pictures, embarrassed announcers, etc? Every night. Yes, Rob, you are. as usual, right. — P. J. KINSMAN. INTERVIEWING I was very surprised and shocked to watch an interi view with Mark Craig on j TV2’s programme last (Wednesday night conducted Iby Paul France. His ques- ' tions were obscure, but well (answered when simplified I and when he allowed Mark ! Craig to answer them. The I interviewer’s attitude was overbearing and I thought, 'aggressive. Mark Craig, on I the other hand, showed restraint and patience. Is this a desirable situation when the interviewer loses his temper, talks over the man being interviewed, and constantly gives voice to his own opinion? — M. C. PATERSON.
