WILLETTS IN FINE FORM
The former New Zealand : jockey. Gary Willetts, for the [second time this week, rode a treble wtih wins on Skyleap. Smokey Don and Grand Scale at Cranboume on Thursday. On Monday Willetts also rode a double in the invitation meeting at Elwick. Hobart, and on Tuesday he scored a treble at Pakenham but had only one winner on Wednesday at Bendigo. Last Saturday Willetts won the Stanley Plate at Caulfield on the Sydne colt Ready O’Ready. Willetts’s services are in great demand in Melbourne and he has been engagtd to ride the Australian Cup favourite Lord Dudley, on Monday.
