The film, “Heat.'” which >jwas banned by the Film Censor, will be shown in New ■ Zealand. An appeal against the ban Iby the Spectrum Group of | Companies, Ltd. has been unanimously upheld by the 'Cinematograph Films CensorI ship Board of Appeal. ■ The board decided that the I film was suitable for showing to persons aged 20 and older, provided certain cuts were made. In approving the film for exhibition the board noted that it was disjointed, which made the task of cutting difficult. Another film, “Stone.” submitted for the second time by Pacific Film Productions, Ltd. was refused a certificate of approval by the Censor unless alterations were made in line with the board’s earlier decision.
