Japanese-type garden plan
The establishment of a ; Japanese-type garden was suggested by Cr G. R. Marrinei at a meeting of the Riccarton Borough Council last evening. He said ideal sites could be found either at Riccarton Bush or Mona Vale. The council decided to seek a joint meeting with the i Christchurch City Council and the Waimairi County Council to discuss the proposal.
