Exclusions down
Fewer students have been excluded from the University of Canterbury this year for unsatisfactory academic progress.
Of more than 6700 students at the university last year, 148 have been excluded from studies. Of these, 86 were first-year students. The year before, 165 students were excluded and in 1973 there were 246 exclusions on academic grounds.
