Disturbance charges
| Four young men appeared in the Magistrate’s Court on! ■ Saturday after a disturbance outside Noah's Hotel in Worcester Street on Friday evening. ( On a charge of using ob-i scene language, Steven John! Butcher was fined $5O by Mri V. Clarke and Miss J. Potter,i Justices of the Peace. He pleaded guilty.
Three other youths were 1 remanded on bail until to-! morrow. They were also charged with using obscene; Slanguage, and one was' charged with resisting a< constable in the execution of his duty. The police went to the; hotel after a disturbance; broke out about 10.20 p.m.l Several persons were evicted' and seven were arrested after a skirmish outside.
