Weather not favourable

(N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, January 11. Weather prospects do not favour a resumption of work at the Maui tower installation site tomorrow, although barges and work-boats moved back to the location today, after being driven off by rough seas on Friday night. Just one vessel, the Northern Tide, remained on station on Friday night because the tower does not yet carry navigational lights. The off-shore contractor, Brown and Root International, is keen to get on with the job of pin-piling, but a spokesman today said that the seas must go down a lot more before this would be possible.
