Anoiner cnance for Maclane at Reefton

Maclane and Paralonnerre are '•elected to bring off a top-weights’ T.A.B. double at Reefton tomorrow. The free-going Maclane is an ideal type for the small West Coast courses, and won three races from four starts r>n his last campaign there. He put some gloss on that form when he won the Dunedin Jockey Club Handicap and the Dunedin Gold Cup last month, and looks well in with 58kg in the Reefton Handicap tomorrow.

The Strathconan Stud Handicap, second leg of the double, is not strong in form runners, and if Par tonnerre can find anything like his best h should be hard to peg back.
