Sir — Your critics do not seem to appreciate that free space in “The Press” is theirs by favour and not byi I right. I cannot . regard . your: (rule as bearing too heavily; 'on the thinner-skinned. I note, however, E. Gregory’s moving plea for “The Walrus” ‘(“Whiter than White”). This sad case may merit the attention of the Council for Civil Liberties or some meddling cleric. — Yours, etc., J.
