Japanese extremists on trial
(N.Z.P.A Reuter—Copyrifit) TOKfo. The Tokyo District Court will open a combined trial of six Left-wing extiplists charged with a serjs of bomb attacks against Jean’s big business establishntot, a Court spokesman said. The defendants, who were to be tried separately fr different bomb attacks, hve so far boycotted hearing by stripping naked and cbging to prison-cell bars or toilet fixtures. Demanding a conbined trial, the members of ISfferent groups of the “Fai East Anti-japan Armed Font” claimed they had shaed a common objective in attacking business firms. Their defence lawyersiave also failed to attend the Court in sympathy, maiing it impossible for the Ourt to start trials.
The Court’s concessia is designed for a speedy rial, the spokesman said.
