The Companies: RETAIL — The home appliance and musical retail and service company operates in Christchurch with five retail outlets plus an extensive service division. WHOLESALE — The wholesale company, Wellard Industries (N.Z.), Ltd, has head office in Christchurch and a branch office in Auckland. It handles an extensive range of musical and audio equipment, which it either imports, or has manutactured by the third company in the group. MANUFACTURING — The third company, Empire Piano Co., Ltd. manufactures electronic organs, radio, stereo equipment, plus cabinetry and stereo furniture in a separate Christchurch factory. The Position: The opportunity to join the executive team of a successful and rapidly expanding company group which encompasses a wide variety of commercial activities. The successful applicant must have a sound knowledge of E.D.P. as the accounting systems are based around two Litton A.B.S. minicomputers. He must have administrative flair, ability to select and train staff and to ensure the ••peed and accuracy of accounting information is maintained. The successful applicant will probably be fully qualified with some years practical experience in a professional capacity. Remuneration: Subject to negotiation, but we envisage a high basic salary plus an annual bonus related to the over-all profitability of the group plus purchasing and other benefits.
