Power boat regatta at Lake Kaniere
Boats from Whangarei to Invercargill competed in a twoday power boat regatta at Lake Kaniere which ended yesterday.
A Greymouth boat. J. K. Loo, driven by J. Kelly, won the Renton Hardware Trophy for over-all winner of the one-hour “enduro race.” There was only one mishap during the two days. Hi Flyer, driven by Barry Ward, flipped over during time trials Ward suffering a dislocated shoulder. Results were:— Dominated speed section. —J. K. Loo (J.
