Man's body found

(K.Z. Prets Association' WHANGAREI The Whangarei police j and volunteer searchers i found the bodt of a missI ing man, Frank Jones, aged ! S 3, at 2.30 p.m. on Frida). Mr Jones had been missing i since he walked out of the iSelwvn Park home. “Maunu. ’ late on Monday afternoon with a suitacse. saying that he was going for a walk. His body was found in a patch of bush at the end of Puriri Park Road. At 10 p.m. on Friday, 53 volunteers had gathered, under police supervision, to search several streets and nearby areas in the hope of finding him. One of the areas searched was the Maunu Cemetery, where Mr Jones’s wife is buried. He haff on many occasions walked from the home alone to visit the grave The team of volunteers was organised by Mr Jones’s son-in-law, Mr R. T. Watts, of Onerahi.
