Cricket on TV

Sir, — This ancient reader was delighted to read that we are to have some cricket on television after all. If I could hear again the rich

fruity tones of the vicar of Fendalton, my Christmas would be complete. If the reverend gentleman is not available, could something be done to curb the constant yapping and erudition of the present breed of commentator? A pity that noms-de-plume are now no-balled. I wanted to sign as “Oliver Twist?” — Yours, etc., L. C. ORR. December 17, 1975.
