Security licences
(From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON. Seven private investigators, l (including one in Christ-1 church) and 27 security) guards have been licensed by the Registrar of Private Investigators and Security! Guards in Auckland, and a) further 12 private-investigator! licences and 79 security-! guard licences are pending. ; In addition. 28 private-: investigator employees and) 451 security-guard employees have been registered. No applicants have been refused so far. but a spokesman for the registrar’s office’ said that some objections had: been received to applications.) and hearings on these would ; begin soon. All private investgators and security guards are required to be registered under) legislation passed last year. '
