T.H.C. makes managerial changes
The Tourist Hotel Corporation has announced managerial changes, to take effect early next year.
Mr W. E. Traill has been! appointed manager of the! Milford Hotel. Mr Traill was! for 10 years manager of the! Chateau Tongariro and, more recently, of the Waitomo Caves Hotel. Mr A. J. Reid becomes manager of the Waitomo Caves Hotel. Mr Reid joined the corporation in 1966. When he was promoted to manager of the Wanaka Hotel two years ago, he was the youngest manager in the chain. Mr W. Neilsen is to be! manager of the Wanaka Hotel. In 1973, when the Tourist Hotel Corporation! repurchased Eichardt's Tav-I ern in Queenstown, Mr Neilsen was transferred from house manager, Wairakei Hotel, to become tavern manager. ;
Mr T. J. Drum, house manager of the Te Anau Hotel, will replace Mr Neilsen. Mr Drum was previously in charge of the Twizel Inn.
