Road toll still falling
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The November road toll of 38 was 11 less than last November, and less than half the toll for November, 1973, said the Minister of Transport (Sir Basil Arthur). “This takes the toll at November 30 to 556, compared with 607 for the same period last year and 791 at the same time the year before,” Sir Basil said. “Earlier this year the toll was running at an average of about 30 less than last year, but the improvement is now more than 50 on the previous year and a dramatic fall of 235 in just two
