Duchess in hospital
<\Z Preus 4s«n — Copyright) PARIS. Dec. 5. The Duchess of Windsor, who is in hospital with recurring stomach ulcer pains, is making good progress and should return to her Paris home soon. The American-born duchess is in the American Hospital in Paris. "She was having stomach ulcer pains and she went in for a checkup 10 days ago,” a spokeswoman said. The spokeswoman added that the duchess, who is 79, is “very well and in good spirits." The hospital confirmed the duchess’s progress, though she was suffering from physical exhaustion. The duchess is the. widow of the Duke of Windsor, who died of cancer in 1972.
