Adamson sets pace

Wayne Adamson (Daliington 1), as befitting his fifth seeding on the New Zealand table tennis ranking list, has the perfect record in the summer A grade competition after four rounds. Adamson has

been extended to the third game on four occasions, but has proved clearly superior in the deciding games.

Players to have recorded six or more wins I (with the number of matches shown in parentheses) are:— Adamson 12 (12), Scott 11 (12), H. H. Reidmond (Avonside I), 10 (12). M. i

W. Burrowes (Avonside I) 8 (9), J. Armstrong (Riccarton I), 7 (9), Yee Chow Boi (University), 7 (9), G. C. Main (Avonside II) 7 (12), H. Thompson (Avonside III), 6 (9), R. W. R. Mercer (Riccarton ID. S (9).
