Grant to choir for trip
The Auckland Dorian Choir has been given $20,000 by the Queen Elizabeth II Arts Council for its tour of Britain in 1977. The choir has been invited to take part in the 250th anniversary of the Three Choirs Festival in Gloucester, and in the British Broadcasting Corporation Henry j Wood promenade concerts in’ London. “The grant is made in i terms of the council’s wid-[ ened brief from the Govern-; ment to encourage, promote; and support artistic links; with other countries,” said Mr H.
