Good Sport might win again
("T.’.e Press” Special Servicei ■ AUCKLAND. ' Good Sport, a last-stride winner over Armbro Magic at Alexandra Park last Fri- I day night, promises to be | the hardest to beat again in the R. A. McMillan Memorial, the first leg of the double at the Waikato Trot- ; ting Club’s meeting at Claudelands tonight. Both horses fought out an exciting finish last Friday, with Good Sport cutting back Armbro Magic on the post to score by half a head. Among those behind the pair was the Cup-class pacer. Captain Harcourt (third) and: Jack Robinson (fourth), which j will be a rival again tonight.! Good Sport does not win regularly but he usually turns' in good, consistent perform-, ances and seems to reservesome of his best efforts over; the longer distances. Others with good chances: tonight will be Jack Robin-: son. Walk Over and Gallio.' Castleton’s Pride stands out in the second leg, the Wai-' Kato Handicap. He is well known as the best beginner and he should have little trouble accounting for his 10metre handicap. DRIVERS M. Barry: Supreme Judge D. Alexander: Barbara Jen. Moon Commander, Young Royalty.
