(V.Z.P A .Reuter— Copyright) DURBAN. Canada won the four-nation amateur golf tournament with a powerful victory over New Zealand on the third and final day at the Royal Durban course. Britain finished second, South Africa third, and New Zealand last. Canada and Britain both ended with two points, but the Canadians had won a total of 16 matches to Britain’s 13. The Canadians thus retain the Commonwealth Trophy. South Africa’s involvement has been challenged because it left the Commonwealth in 1961. In its final match Canada beat New Zealand 7|-I|, and Britain beat South Africa, 5-4. South Africa ended the tournament with one point and 12| matches, and New Zealand with one point and 104 matches.
