Canterbury A and Canterbury B were the only unbeaten teams in the primary schoolboys cricket festival at Burnside Park at the week-end. Results of games were: Ashburton 130 (Hurley 38. Fra ser 33; Calder 8/23* beat West Coast 82 (Nilsen 48; Collins 8/14> Canterbury A 173/9 (Sansom 48, Rutledge 36; Jeffcott 5/51) beat North Canterbury 77 (Harris 6/12. Millichip 3/17) Canterbury B 180 (‘Whittaker 50 not out: Braid 3/31) beat. South Canterbury 147/7 'Farrant 32 not out; French-Wright 3/28,. North Canterbury 25/2 beat Ashburton 18 (Flynn 7/5, Jeffcott 3/9).
Canterbury B 144/7 'Messeny 30 retd. O'Neill 31 retd: Xil-on 4/34> beat IVest Coast 75 Kilkelly 45; Flutev 4/0, Boyle 3/17'.
Canterbury A 83 'Malden 24 Farranf 3/22> beat South Canter bury 56 (Millichip 8/26).
