Martial law inquiry

Mr G. E. Bisson, chairman of the New Zealand section of the International Commission of Jurists, is at present in the Philippines, studying the martial law in force there.

While in Manila, Mr Bisson will contact Government officers, lawyers and church representatives and will make investigations into arrests, detentions, trials, and allegations of torture and illtreatment.
