Tour of S.A. approved
(N.Z. Press Association) BLENHEIM. The Marlborough Rugby Union’s intended tour of South Africa has been approved by the South African Rugby Board. The president of the Marlborough union (Mr E. P. Dwyer) received the approval and was advised that an itinerary and arrangements would be supplied later. “As far as they are concerned, the tour is on,” he said.
However, before the Marlborough team tours, the itinerary and arrangements must be suitable to the Marlborough union and the team, he said. That could not be discussed until those details were received. Mr Dwyer said he presumed the board’s approval was for • tour in Natal.
