Telephone calls to Youth- I line increased from 840 in j 1973-74 to 2100 in 1974-75, according to the annual re-| port of the Christchurch I Methodist Central Mission. Loneliness, boy-girl, or child-parent relationships i were the subjects of most' calls. Youthline, which is in its! fifth year, also provides an: emergency team and face-to-i face counselling bv specially trained members.
