Trophies to shooters
The 10-man team from the Christchurch branch of the New Zealand Small Game Shooters Sporting Association became the holders of the Limacher Shield when it beat a strong Wellington team by 42 points at the West Melton range on Sunday. The win capped off a successful week-end for the Christchurch shooters, who also managed to beat Wellington in the iannual inter-branch shoot for ' the Clark-Parkes Trophy on ’Saturday, the winning margin! being 27 points.
