Festival films showing

Fifteen films from the recent international amateur film festival organised by the Christchurch Movie Club will have a public screening in the Museum Theatre on Saturday and Monday nights.

Three .of the films will be screened on both evenings — “The Flee Market” by J. and G. Hickie (Scotland), winner of the fiction section; “Football U.5.A.,” by F. Taylor (Christchurch); “Tuneful Wings,” Orr and Goff (U.S.), Photographic Service nature award; “And on the Eighth Day,” Altrincham Cine Club (England), Kempthorne Prosser monochrome award; “Football U.5.A.,” F. Harshbarger (U.S.), winner documentary section; “Bali,” Kurt Keil (Austria), Hei Tiki Trophy, winner travel section, Agfa Gaevert prize for editing.
