I t'N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH. ' Small quantities of hydro- : carbon have been found at the Kupe I well in South Taranaki, but they are not : considered commercial. Shell, BP. and Todd Oil Services, Ltd, reported that; the well was down to 3297 m where electric logging had been carried out. Drilling of the B|in hole was continuing, but progress during the week had been delayed by bad weather and further problems with losses of drilling mud.
